Our approach

Engaged, active, and purposeful learning

We believe children learn best when they are engaged, challenged, and supported. Our teachers use a blend of direct instruction, collaborative projects, and hands-on activities to bring every subject to life. Small class sizes mean every child receives the attention they need to thrive.

Small class sizes

Personal attention for every learner — teachers know each child's strengths, interests, and areas for growth.

Cross-curricular learning

Subjects are connected meaningfully, helping children see the bigger picture and apply knowledge across contexts.

Reading culture

A love of reading is cultivated from Year 1 through daily reading time, a well-stocked library, and rich text choices.

Pastoral care

Every child has a form teacher who knows them well and supports their wellbeing alongside their academic progress.

Progression to Secondary

Prepared and ready for Secondary School

By the end of Year 6, LEO Primary students are academically strong, socially confident, and genuinely excited about the next stage of their education. Our curriculum is carefully aligned with the Year 7 programme so that the transition to Secondary School is smooth, supported, and exciting.
